Pro-Eco-Lite™ Headwalls

Headwall under a dirt roadPro-Eco-Lite™ headwalls are lightweight engineered inlet and outlet control structures used for flood, stream, erosion, debris safety, and animal control in pipe end systems. They are efficient and economical, made of composite reinforced polymer. They have been used in environmentally sensitive areas and are on the recognized product list for BC and Alberta.

Design: Durable lightweight composite reinforced polymer concrete, prefabricated design, combines the strength of concrete with the lightweight characteristics of plastic.

Features: Manufactured with all non-corrosive materials, UV stable, pipe-to-pipe connection system that easily attaches to any pipe type (including concrete) sized from 100 mm (4") up to 2200 mm (86"). Concrete pipe connections are made possible with a fibreglass spigot or belled end.

Benefits: Prefabricated, easy to install, performs well in hot and cold climates, remote locations, soft soil conditions, and corrosive environments.

Headwalls being loaded on to a flat bed truckEnvironmental Benefits: Fish-friendly, non-leaching, non-corrosive materials, meeting federal requirements for non-polluting of streams and ditches.

Installation: At just 10% the weight of traditional concrete headwalls, Pro-Eco-LiteTM headwalls enable quicker, simpler installations with less labour and equipment. They can be easily maneuvered by hand or with on-site machinery.

Options: Handrails, security grids, and trash gates.

Additional Options: Flap/Sluice gates and Tideflex valves.
